That's too bad. Lexus is the great Buick that the old GM couldn't
build.
"U.S. sales of the Lexus HS 250h, the first dedicated hybrid-electric
vehicle from Toyota Motor Corp.’s luxury division, are running below
target with 1,076 deliveries in April, according to Ward’s data.
Lexus had hoped to sell 20,000-22,000 units annually in the U.S. but
is on pace to deliver fewer than 14,000, having sold just 4,529 copies
through April.
Since the HS went on sale in August, Lexus has sold 11,228.
