Just completed a 2000 mile trip in my RX350. EPA says 23 on the road -
I got 27.8 on the interstate when speed limit was 70 and 29 mpg where
it was 60 and 65 on state highways. Quite a pleasant suprise since my
wife's Honda Civic hybrid gets 33 in town when EPA says 48.

No surprise here. The EPA highway estimates are always pessimistic (just as
the city estimates are optimistic) for conventional powertrains.

Nevertheless, we have a 2004 RX330 and get nowhere near the numbers you get.
The old V6 in our RX is known to be a pretty mediocre design and the new V6
in yours is clearly superior.

A pity Toyota/Lexus let the old one live so long.
